The Children's Society is today celebrating the publication of "A Good Childhood: Searching for Values in a Competitive Age".
To mark the publication of the report, we have been working with the The Children's Society to redesign their homepage to promote the report; to bring the associated evidence to the fore and to highlight the response of The Children's Society to the issues raised in the publication.
Emma Brooks - New Media Manager at The Children's Society said:
9web really took the time to understand the specific requirements of our brief. Their attention to detail and creative flair produced some really excellent work. It's always a pleasure to work with Ian and his team.

Today sees the launch of a new web presence for women's fashion retail group, Frank Usher.
The project was another successful collaboration with Creative Interpartners who developed the look and feel for the website. 9web then took the visual design and delivered a standards compliant technical build, including some non-obtrusive javascript techniques to enhance the user experience whilst browsing the collections.
The website showcases collections from the four labels under the group:

We are pleased to announce that The Children's Society pushed their new intranet live today.
During the project, 9web worked with a large group of internal stakeholders to understand the unique needs of all areas of the organisation. An exhaustive requirements gathering process led to the development of a content architecture for the intranet and defined the approach to personalisation and staff collaboration.
With a focus on personalisation and usability, our iterative creative design process then delivered a consistent look and feel for all areas of the intranet and a rich user experience was delivered via non-obtrusive JavaScript techniques.
Linda Whittingham, Intranet Redevelopment Project Manager said:
The intranet was developed, with 9web as the design team, following the successful collaboration on The Children's Society website.
Ian in particular provided strong and constructive guidance during the requirements gathering, as well as the design process. This involvement throughout the project and the commitment to deliver a quality service, contributed to a very successful (and timely) launch of the intranet.
It was a pleasure to have 9web as part of the extended project team!

9web have today launched an interactive microsite for The Leprosy Mission International.
On the 25th January 2009, more than 100 countries will unite to celebrate World Leprosy Day. In preparation for this, 9web have been working with The Leprosy Mission International (TLM) to design and build resource material to help get the message across that leprosy still exists and affects millions of people worldwide.
The Flash based map that we have created encourages users to interactively engage with web content. As well as highlighting the prevalence of the disease throughout the world, the map showcases TLM’s work in Africa and Asia and breaks some myths about the cause, transmission, symptoms and treatment of the disease.
The editorial content of the Flash map is driven by XML feed meaning that the content can be easily updated and can be translated into different languages when implemented on TLM supporting countries websites.
Loyola Ranarison, New Media Manager at TLM said:
It is always good to find a creative way to illustrate a web campaign. For World Leprosy Day 2009, 9web supported our creative team in developing a Flash interactive map that can be used by our offices throughout the world. We have appreciated their advice, contribution and ability to transform ideas into web content.
