9web developed a site structure for the intranet that works effectively for employees at all levels, in all locations across the world. Our iterative creative design process then delivered a new look and feel that allows for the required level of personalisation and regionalisation, works as an information resource and acts as an application portal for employees to quickly and easily access all Shire related electronic resources.

The project is yet another in partenrship with Unified Solutions and the scope includes information and creative design with XHTML/CSS/javacript templates to be implemented on to the Immediacy content management system by Unified.

Timescales are tight with delivery of the CMS platform expected in early March. We'd better get cracking!

The website was designed by 9web as part of the recent project to rework the main Children's Society website.

From The Children's Society website:

Kids Zone is aimed at children and young people and was developed with a small group of children and young people at our Genesis project in Greenwich.

The website acts as an online forum where the children and young people engaged with our projects can tell their stories, offer advice and have fun at the same time.

There is also a more serious side to the website - it features downloadable resources that can help children and young people to understand how to deal with the challenges that they face on a daily basis, like changing schools.

There are also interactive photo galleries, which show what The Children's Society's projects get up to and lists ways they can get involved with us in their area.

Lambeth Living is a new Arms Length Management Organisation (ALMO) set up by Lambeth Council to run its housing services.

The project involves the planning, design and technical build of a new website for the ALMO to be implemented onto the Immediacy content management system. Watch this space...
