We have been working with Oakleaf since they were established in 2005 and, following a rebrand, we redeveloped their website in Summer 2009.

Capabilities landing pageOakleaf had quite simply grown out of their old website. The new visual branding demanded a new look and feel for the site and the growth of the company in recent years meant that the content and information architecture no longer met the information goals of their audiences.
We began the project working closely with the Oakleaf partners to establish the objectives for the new website; identify their target audiences and understand their specific information needs. It quickly became apparent that Oakleaf's biggest asset is its people and they should be central to the new site structure. Candidates and clients all form strong personal relationships with the Oakleaf consultants during the recruitment process and we needed to bring this to the forefront of the new website.
The result is a site structure based around people and capabilities. Each staff member now has a detailed online profile with their personal biography, their jobs, news items and client testimonials on display. This gives each recruiter the opportunity to reflect their own personality and industry insight to their own profile, their team and the company as a whole.
The visual design came next, taking the new branding and delivering a sophisticated, modern look and feel for the website. The site is built on open standards with accessibility and search engine optimisation in mind and is managed via a bespoke admin system where staff at all levels can author and manage jobs, news, client testimonials and their own profile information.
